2. Order Related

Before placing an order, please carefully read the terms below. The terms may be updated regularly (e.g., to reflect changes in laws, technology, business decisions, business models, etc.), so we ask you to accept the terms and conditions each time you shop with us.

2.1 Placing an Order

The online store is open 24 hours a day, but may be closed for maintenance services. In such cases, we will attempt to perform maintenance services during the night in Taiwan time [UTC+8]. The processing time for all orders is business days. In case of national holidays or weekends, orders will be processed on the next business day.

2.2 Inspection Period for Products

Within 7 days from the day after receiving the product, the product enjoys the statutory inspection period. During this period, please maintain the integrity of the box packaging and be sure to keep the product in its original condition to avoid odors, wear, washing, stains, etc., to ensure the rights and interests of both parties. To safeguard the interests of both parties, we recommend that you record the entire unboxing process to ensure whether the product is missing. For missing products after unboxing, incorrect items, defects, etc., clear and complete unboxing videos will be the basis. If any defects or damage to the product are found, please contact our customer service as soon as possible, and we will process it promptly.

2.3 Shipping Address

JOUCOS can only process orders with delivery addresses being residential or commercial addresses in the delivery area we provide. Except for other situations, we reserve the right to cancel the purchase contract in the following cases and are not responsible for compensation or other expenses:

I. Your payment information is incorrect or cannot be verified.

II. There is an inadvertent error on this website, such as a payment error.

III. Orders can only be concluded on this website. We do not process orders submitted by letter or fax.

IV. Your order is for criminal purposes, or it is an order placed under circumstances related to criminal activities or other illegal activities.

2.4 Order Validity

Before submitting an order, you can modify the information provided, including payment, delivery, and billing information. Clicking "Complete Order," entering your payment information, and seeing a receipt on the screen signify your contractual commitment. If you encounter any issues or make mistakes when placing an order, please contact our customer service.

For safety and stability, we temporarily do not process under the following circumstances; we appreciate your understanding:

2.5 Anti-Fraud Measures

To protect you and our other customers from fraudulent activities, we do not engage in any proactive or offline transactions, such as wire transfers, ATM operations, or cash/item deliveries, under any circumstances. If you receive suspicious calls or letters, please proactively send an email to service@joucos.com for inquiries, and we will assist you.

3. Payment Methods

We use WorldPay as a third-party payment service provider and accept the following payment methods:

Once you complete the order and click submit, the payment will be deducted from the selected payment service. In some cases, we may reserve the order amount from your account, but if the order needs to be canceled, your money will be refunded.

4. Delivery and Pricing

We use Black Cat for domestic delivery, and DHL, SF Express, DPEX for international shipping, with the warehouse located in Taiwan. Orders for international shipping may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and other fees imposed by the destination country. All orders shipped to areas outside Taiwan are not subject to tariffs, and import taxes, customs duties, and customs fees, as well as compliance with the laws and regulations of the destination country, are the responsibility of the customer.

4.1 Delivery

We will deliver the goods to the buyer within 7-21 working days. If you order multiple items and one or more are out of stock, we will partially ship the available products. You can check the delivery status of your items in the order history in your personal information on joucos.com. If we do not ship to your place/country, you should fill in the area that meets our shipping area or waive the purchase when placing an order.

If you do not pick up the package or take any action related to delivery, and the package is returned to us, we will charge the loss based on the subsequent situation (such as re-shipping, refund amount needs to deduct related fees when abandoning the purchase).

If the package is not picked up and incurs any type of fee, you will be responsible for additional charges and will pay for all related costs, including return shipping, any additional payments, tariffs, taxes, return fees, and any additional fees.

Please note that the risk of loss or damage to the product passes to you after delivery. If the package looks damaged or torn, you should refuse to accept the product. If you wish to complain about any non-compliance, you need to notify us.

4.2 Currency

Prices on the website are displayed in New Taiwan Dollars only. Your credit card will be charged in New Taiwan Dollars. We reserve the right to change prices and are not responsible for any printing errors.

4.3 Order Tracking and Viewing History

When you place an order on our website, you will receive a separate email containing the contents, quantity, price, and shipping address of your purchased items. If you have any questions about the order status, feel free to contact customer service.

5. Returns and Cancellations

5.1 Order Cancellation

You can request order cancellation by emailing service@joucos.com before the product is shipped.

5.2 Returns

If the product has been shipped, the process changes to returns. Please directly email service@joucos.com, and our customer service will contact you.

Regarding returns during the appraisal period, please note:

I. JOUCOS does not accept returns after the seven-day appraisal period.

II. According to the Consumer Protection Act of Taiwan, intimate apparel (such as underwear, sleepwear, socks, swimwear, etc.) and accessories (earrings, necklaces, earrings, rings, bracelets, etc.) are considered personal hygiene items. JOUCOS will send them to you in a transparent sealed packaging. If you have opened the packaging, JOUCOS will not accept returns during the appraisal period.

III. If there is intentional damage to the product, missing related accessories such as boxes, dust bags, hangtags (including tag lines), or related promotional gifts when returning the product during the appraisal period, you will bear the cost of restoring it to its original condition (in accordance with Article 19-2, Paragraph 3 of the Consumer Protection Act and Article 259 of the Civil Code).

Regarding defective product returns, please note:

I. Products with conditions not in their original state, such as odors (perfume, tobacco, etc.), various makeup stains, removed hangtags, washed items, signs of use, wear and tear, scratches, dirt, etc., cannot be returned as defective.

II. If related accessories are missing when the product is returned, such as boxes, dust bags, hangtags (including tag lines), etc., defective returns cannot be claimed.

III. If related promotional gifts are not returned with the return package, it will be considered incomplete accessories, and the return process cannot be completed.

5.3 Refunds

To prevent fraud, we can only refund the payment to the credit card used for placing the order. We reserve the right to retain the refund until we receive the product, verify its condition, or provide proof of product return. Please note that for orders shipped to customers outside Taiwan, we will not refund tariffs and value-added tax.

6. Non-compliant and Incorrect Products

If your product is non-compliant or we deliver the wrong product, please contact our customer service. You do not need to pay for the return of non-compliant or incorrect products. If you notice non-compliance or incorrect products during delivery, you should refuse to accept the product.

7. Other Matters

We make every effort to update our website to ensure the accuracy of product prices, promotions, descriptions, and other information. Printing errors and errors in product information such as prices, promotions, descriptions, and others may occur. Sometimes we may find incorrect product prices, but we reserve the right to make final changes and decisions.
